Week 11 Snapshot: Almost 180,000 Select Plans, 7.47 Million Enrolled

With the Act deadline nearing, 179,710 consumers selected the federal exchange during the 11th open , the Department and Human Services (HHS) reported Feb. 4. Total signups since began Nov. 15, 2014 were 7,473,699.

The most recent report, which covers the Jan. 24 to Jan. , also included signup statistics for the 37 states that refer their residents to the website, and breakouts for plan section by selected Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs). These are detailed below.

Nearly 374,000 applications were submitted online in the latest , bringing the total to 10.12 million applications submitted since opened.

The site was visited by almost 2.9 million consumers during the , for a total 25.1 million since opened. This compares to just over 133,000 during the for the Spanish-language CuidadodeSalude.gov site, and a total more than 997,000 since opened.

More than 977,000 consumers contacted the call center during the most recent . They waited an average two and a half minutes hold. Callers seeking a Spanish-speaking representative waited about 15 seconds.

Nearly 602,000 visitors used the “window shopping” tool during the to explore available to them. More than 27,000 window-shopped CuidadodeSalud.gov.
