SCOTUS Rejects Challenge to Individual Mandate

The Supreme Court Monday declined to hear a legal challenge to the mandate provision the Act, filed by the Association American Physicians and Surgeons.

The ’s objection to the requirement that individuals buy or face fines had been rejected previously by a district court in 2012 and by the District Columbia Court Appeals in March 2014.

The organization, based in Tucson, carries a “Stop ” graphic its website and has been involved in against the law since shortly after its passage in 2010.
