Medicaid and CHIP Up By 9.7 Million

In and CHIP (Children’s ) rose by 9.7 million during the first nine months 2014, according to theDepartment and Human Services (HHS).

Figures released by HHS Dec. 18 show a 17% increase over enrollments during the same in 2013, before the opening federal and state marketplaces under the Act.
