November 1, 2015 - Open begins. Individuals can apply for, drop, keep or change their plans.
- December 15, 2015 – Individuals must enroll by this date if they want new coverage that begins January 1, 2016. If they are changing, this is the deadline to enroll and avoid a gap in their coverage.
- December 31, 2015 - Enrollment ends for 2015. Enrollment for 2016 can start as early as January 1.
- January 31, 2016 - This is the last date individuals can apply for 2016 before the Open Enrollment ends. After this date, consumers must qualify for special enrollment due to a life event such as loss from a change in enrollment, marriage, or the birth or adoption a child.
