Help For Employers on ACA Filing Requirements

The IRS is providing information to help companies understand the requirements for electronic filing information related to the Affordable Care Act. Information and transmittals can be electronically filed through the Information system, or AIR. Information regarding the AIR system and filing Act Information is online at the  web page.

If companies encounter an issue that prevents an information return from being submitted electronically through AIR, phone support is available at numbers listed in Publication 5165, Act Information for Software Developers and Transmitters. The AIR staff will make the appropriate corrections or temporary changes to allow the return to be transmitted electronically.
